I have great pleasure to announce the appointment of Mr. Riwan Tamic, to the role of C-MAC Group CEO, as my replacement, on my retirement. Riwan is a French national and is fluent also in German and English languages. He holds a Master’s Degree in Materials Science Engineering and is married with three daughters.
Riwan brings with him to C-MAC, more than 25 years of Electronics Industry experience, including 20 years at world-leading, Electronics Manufacturing Services provider, JABIL. With his recent experience as Business Unit Director of Electronics Manufacturing Services, at JABIL, he will take over the leadership of the Company, as C-MAC continues a strong growth transformation. In addition to his EMS industry experience, Riwan has held multiple management roles in different areas such as Quality, Supply Chain, Operations and Business management, in several industry sectors, including the Automotive sector.
Riwan has also spent a considerable amount of his career, overseas, gaining international experience working in South-East Asia, the USA and also in several countries in Europe, including the Netherlands and Germany. Riwan joins C-MAC with effect from 1 July 2022. He will be based at C-MAC Electromag, Ronse, Belgium.
Danny Detemmerman will gradually take over my responsibilities for C-MAC’s Sherbrooke, Canada and Warwick, U.K. operations, as Group Chief Operating Officer. I will stay on with the Company, for a period as C-MAC Group Chairman, to support the C-MAC Executive Team, during this new transition of the business.
In 2021 and year-to-date 2022, the C-MAC Group has secured the strongest order intake that we have seen in many years, in all three of our manufacturing plants. As with many other electronics companies, C-MAC also is currently facing major challenges, due to supply chain shortages of components and other materials, which are affecting our ability to meet your product delivery requirements.
However, we are investing strongly in our operations and our people, so we will fight our way through this current crisis to secure the long-term future for C-MAC, for our Customers and for all our Employees.

C’est avec un grand plaisir que j’annonce la nomination de M. Riwan TAMIC au poste de PDG du groupe C-MAC, pour me remplacer après ma retraite. Riwan a la nationalité française et parle également l’allemand et l’anglais. Il est titulaire d’une maîtrise en ingénierie des sciences des matériaux, est marié et a trois filles.
Riwan apporte à C-MAC plus de 25 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie électronique, dont 20 ans chez JABIL, l’un des principaux fournisseurs mondiaux de services de fabrication électronique. Fort de sa récente expérience en tant que directeur de l’unité commerciale des services de fabrication de produits électroniques chez JABIL, il prendra la direction de C-MAC alors que l’entreprise poursuit sa forte croissance. Outre son expérience dans l’industrie EMS, Riwan a occupé de multiples postes de direction dans divers domaines tels que la qualité, la chaîne d’approvisionnement, les opérations et la gestion d’entreprise dans différents secteurs industriels, notamment l’automobile.
Riwan a également passé une partie importante de sa carrière à l’étranger, où il a acquis une expérience internationale en Asie du Sud-Est, aux États-Unis et également dans plusieurs pays d’Europe, notamment aux Pays-Bas et en Allemagne. Riwan a rejoint C-MAC avec effet au 1er juillet 2022. Il travaillera chez C-MAC Electromag à Ronse (Belgique).
Danny Detemmerman reprendra progressivement mes responsabilités pour les opérations de C-MAC à Sherbrooke (Canada) et à Warwick (Royaume-Uni), en tant que directeur des opérations du groupe (COO).
Je resterai président du groupe C-MAC et soutiendrai l’équipe de direction de C-MAC pendant cette nouvelle transition de l’entreprise.
En 2021 et jusqu’en 2022, le groupe C-MAC a obtenu la plus forte prise de commandes dans ses trois usines depuis de nombreuses années. Comme beaucoup d’autres sociétés d’électronique, C-MAC est actuellement confrontée à des défis importants dus à des pénuries dans la chaîne d’approvisionnement de composants et d’autres matériaux qui affectent notre capacité à répondre aux exigences de livraison de vos produits.
Cependant, nous investissons massivement dans nos opérations et notre personnel afin de surmonter la crise actuelle et d’assurer l’avenir à long terme de C-MAC, de nos clients et de tous nos employés.
