Riwan brings with him to C-MAC, more than 25 years of Electronics Industry experience, including 20 years at world-leading, Electronics Manufacturing Services provider, JABIL. With his recent experience as Business Unit Director of Electronics Manufacturing Services, at JABIL, he will take over the leadership of the Company, as C-MAC continues a strong growth transformation. In addition to his EMS industry experience, Riwan has held multiple management roles in different areas such as Quality, Supply Chain, Operations and Business management, in several industry sectors, including the Automotive sector.

Riwan has also spent a considerable amount of his career, overseas, gaining international experience working in South-East Asia, the USA and also in several countries in Europe, including the Netherlands and Germany. Riwan joins C-MAC with effect from 1 July 2022. He will be based at C-MAC Electromag, Ronse, Belgium.

Danny Detemmerman will gradually take over my responsibilities for C-MAC’s Sherbrooke, Canada and Warwick, U.K. operations, as Group Chief Operating Officer. I will stay on with the Company, for a period as C-MAC Group Chairman, to support the C-MAC Executive Team, during this new transition of the business.

In 2021 and year-to-date 2022, the C-MAC Group has secured the strongest order intake that we have seen in many years, in all three of our manufacturing plants. As with many other electronics companies, C-MAC also is currently facing major challenges, due to supply chain shortages of components and other materials, which are affecting our ability to meet your product delivery requirements.

However, we are investing strongly in our operations and our people, so we will fight our way through this current crisis to secure the long-term future for C-MAC, for our Customers and for all our Employees.
